On 27 November, CEVE hosted the first dissemination session of the Vale d’Este Living Lab, an initiative designed to test innovative energy solutions directly with our community. We invited around 45 customers, selected based on their consumption profiles, and were pleased to welcome a smaller (around 10) but highly engaged group who attended and actively participated.
The Living Lab is being developed as a long-term experimental environment, designed to support multiple innovation projects and enable continuous testing of new energy solutions with real consumers.
During the session, INESC TEC researcher Tomás Fidalgo presented the AI-Effect project and the service design for the TEF.
This engagement session also helped strengthen interest in the AI-Effect project, with participants showing genuine motivation to join the initiative. Many attendees actively contributed with questions and comments, demonstrating strong curiosity and willingness to be involved.
From CEVE’s perspective, the AI-Effect project represents a valuable opportunity to bring innovation closer to citizens and to ensure that real users are actively involved in shaping future energy solutions.
